Changed Again

i’ve been doing a lot of blog maintenance lately, so if you’re viewing my page through a feed-reader, you oughta check out my actual website just for S&Gs. go on. do it. it’ll make me feel better to know that all the ridiculous work i’ve been doing is actually being looked at.

for starters… i’ve ditched the useless ads in the sidebar. google adsense is great in theory, but not so great in practice. maybe i just don’t understand enough about it to use it to its full potential… but most likely i just don’t get enough traffic for it to make a difference. so bye bye obnoxious, useless ads.

i have also ditched my “Cool Blogs” page. don’t worry, your blog is still here… i’ve just relocated it to the left sidebar under a more traditional Blogroll on the front page. i also ditched the photography section. i just don’t do enough non-kid related photography since i’ve trapped myself in for the winter.

and for those of you who are sick of hearing me jabber on about Yoga, Cycling, and my weight, i’ve begun a new blog. it’s more of a personal public journal intended to keep my butt in gear by setting short term fitness goals for myself. if you just happen to not mind my exercise-talk, you can go here (www.nobodysnothings.com/fitness) to find it. i won’t be writing in it nearly as much as i do here… i am hoping to update myself at least once a month with the goals i reached the previous month. we’ll see how it works out, eh? it’s still under construction, so if you visit it… don’t expect too much.

also, my MIL has begun to try and worm her way into our vacation. she actually suggested we rent a house together while visiting my husband’s dad. (whom my children and i will be meeting for the first time) just the idea of vacationing with her makes me want to break out in hives… the idea of being in the presence of her AND my husband’s father? is absolutely unthinkable. let’s hope she doesn’t mention it again.

oh, and if you just happen to find Summer (the season, not a person named Summer) please send it my way? mkaythnx. the dreary, gray cold is slowly killing us.
