…are one of the dumbest products i’ve seen on the tv yet. even the commercials seem to make fun of themselves… who hasn’t laughed at the picture of the 70 year old man stiffly seated on the couch with a Snuggie draped over his shoulders?
it’s impractical… why would i want to get tangled up in a giant blanket with sleeves? if i want to stay warm all the time, i’ll wear a warm set of pj’s that will allow me walk around while being comfy and warm. (without tripping over the extra material) if i want to be confined to the couch in order to stay warm, i’ll use an old, comfy blanket.
it’s hideous… even this lovely lady’s “cum hither” look can’t make this thing look pretty, and i’m pretty sure that if i ever got one of these, my grape ape suit would feel inadequate next to it in the fugly department.

but damnit, those things look comfortable. i am completely ashamed to say… i kinda want one. i’ve seen them with prints of sports mascots, bright colors, and even one so covered in bright green shamrocks, it would make a leprocaun shit himself with excitement.

it seems like they’ve made one to satisfy anyone’s need to be comfortable and warm in an extremely ridiculous, utterly silly looking way. and look! it’s just the right time of year to sell it too… for Halloween, you can go as a couch throw! i guarantee, you’ll be the most comfortable person at the party.
or, if you’re feeling frisky, you can go naked under your Snuggie… i bet there’s room for two in the folds of that excessive use of fabric. just don’t get too frisky, or you’ll end up in the emergency room getting your leg amputated after the extra fabric gets twisted and starts cutting off circulation to your extremities.
but really? all fugliness aside, i am comfortable enough with my own, uh, comfortableness… that i think a Snuggie (or “Snuggle up” as they call the generic Shamrock one) would be an awesome addition to my pajama collection. and yet despite my comfortable comfortableness, i still feel a glimmer of shame admitting it…
c’mon. you know you want one. just admit it.
