the other day we were driving around town and we passed by a poster for the Twilight movie. it had a huge blown up picture of Bella on the front, and my son says “Hey mom! You look like the girl on that sign!” awww. i swear that kid is the sweetest. i don’t think Bella is particularly pretty, but by normal, non-hollywood standards she is, so i’m taking it as a compliment.
i just love how my kid still thinks i’m the prettiest girl around. it won’t last long, so i’m going to try and make it last, and appreciate it while i can.
with that in mind, here’s a list for children on how to make Mommy feel better!
1) tell her she sounds just like Sarah McLaughlin when she sings.
2) tell her that Bella from Twilight looks just like her
3) start to cry because she told you that someday you will want to move away and live with some other girl someday
4) flap your arms like a rabid monkey and smile everytime you see her
5) be so comfortable in her arms that you can’t help but fall asleep
6) tell her that she gives the best hugs
7) cry when you make her mad, because you made her mad- not because you got in trouble
9) tell her that SHE has to make your oatmeal because nobody else does it right
as for number 10…what would you put?
